Dream in Pink

This post is picture heavy...mainly because this is one of my favorite layouts! The photo is of my cousin's little girl, Eliza Marie. She is a beautiful little girl, most especially on the inside, but just as much on the outside. Needless to say, it's not at all hard to build a beautiful page around that face.

Puff paint...yes, I had fun!

I made these out of card stock that I spritzed with some homemade glimmer mist. I just cut uneven circles and made a few slits here and there before giving them a good wrinkling and curled up the edges. They're attached with a couple brads and voila.

I love how this heart turned out. I sloppy-stitched around the edges of the bigger one on the bottom, then I attached the smaller heart with a stitch down the center. This would work great as a butterfly.

I had some fun with layers on this layout.

Each layer got its own stitching style. I love the added texture and the fun little patterns. The best part is you don't have to be an expert on the sewing machine. I'm not {AT ALL}. If I go too long between sewing I usually have to get my mom to remind me how to get the bobbin in.

Wednesday is almost over and the weekend is nearly upon us. I hope you have plans to do something fun {or to relax and do nothing, I don't judge}.
