Fairest of Them All: Pink and Brown Layout With Handmade Flowers

Here's another layout of my lovely niece, Adeline, from the time we spent with them in Virginia. I only wish I could photograph her more often.

Here's some close-ups:

I made both of these flowers. The one on the right is made with some botanicals that came in their natural paper white color. I used food coloring diluted in water to make my pink color. I used some simple pearlescent brads to secure the layers together and that crazy glitter fairy came along and added her sparkle.

I hope you all are having a great start to your week. I'm working on a mile-long list of to-dos, but it seems like every time I check one thing off, I discover two more things to add to the bottom. At this point, I'm thinking about chucking the list...

This weekend is the La Crosse County Fair, just over the Mississippi from us, which means fair season is in full swing! I've talked about my love of county fairs before, and now that we're in the last month count-down to our own Houston County Fair, I'm getting warmed up by heading over there this weekend with Zae for some hometown fun and inspiration!
