Happy Fall! October Tic Tac Toe

Happy Fall autumn October scrapbook layout in orange and gold with pumpkins, die cuts, handmade flowers, fussy cut leaves, chipboard wreath frame

Happy October! I don't know about you, but I just love fall. Here in Minnesota, we have four very distinct seasons {sometimes known as winter, less winter, hot, and almost winter}. Our state could steal the words from House Stark from Game of Thrones: Winter is coming!

Fall {almost winter} was my dad's favorite season, and he must have passed on that enthusiasm to me, because I just love everything about fall: the smell of the trees and leaf piles, crisp apples, Oktoberfest, football games, the way the hills turn from green to gold...the list goes on but I'll get to the point of this post: sharing my layout for the tic-tac-toe challenge for the Scrap Our Stash design team.

The tic-tac-toe challenge is one of my absolute favorite challenges! Here's this month's challenge board:

THE CHALLENGE:
Create a layout and you must use all three items from any horizontal, vertical or diagonal row from your stash.

EXAMPLE:
Middle row horizontal, your layout must include a doily, a pumpkin, and graph paper.

For my project, I used the diagonal line starting in the top left corner: orange, pumpkin, and die cut.

When posting your layout, be sure to include in your write up which row you used to be considered for the random prize drawing.

Scrap Our Stash was created to inspire and challenge you to use up the products and supplies you have in your scrapbooking stash. If you haven't played along yet, I invite you to come on over and join the fun: the tic-tac-toe challenge on the first of the month, and the sketch with a twist challenge starting on the 15th of the month.

  1. Oh my Goodness! Look at the beautiful Fall colors in the photo and your layout! The leaves in the photos are amazing!! We don't get to see these beautiful colors way down south....our trees just go from green to dead looking (ha!). Adorable layout and the design is awesome!

  2. If it was up to me, it would be autumn year round. I love everything that comes with the cool weather and shorter days. Not to mention the beautiful colours.
And what a pretty layout featuring the colours I was speaking of. I love how you framed little Zae's photo, and then embellished it with flowers. The bird is really cute.
I still have some of that fancy tape in my stash. I should really use it.
I think I'm going to play the SOS Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this month. I'm really liking the options given. TFS. ♥
