Our Santa

Christmas scrapbook layout in blue, red, green, and black with die cuts from Studio Light and baker's twine

Christmas is getting closer every day! I've been hard at work on all my Christmas scrapbooking, and today I'm sharing a layout created for the Cherish the Memory design team.

I came across this photo of my Uncle Ed, a talented artist, getting dressed up as Santa Claus for our big Christmas Eve gathering at my grandparents' house and it brought back so many memories!

Dozens of cousins would pile into the big bedroom upstairs and my mom or one of the aunts would read us the Night Before Christmas. That's when Santa came, and when we returned downstairs, Santa had filled the room with so many presents you had to weave your way through them to find a place to sit. Sometimes, we had a peek at Santa.

  1. Such a wonderful story and DELIGHTFUL memory!! WOW! Love that you had a photo of 'Santa' getting ready! How cool is that?! Love all the layers of torn paper - they remind me of Christmas wrapping paper!
